Ter uitbreiding van de Belgische organisatie, gevestigd in Leuven, zoeken wij enthousiaste kandidaten (m/v) voor de functie van:

Job title: Service & Application Manager MT and Optonics Benelux

Scope of the position: Overall management of the service & application departments for both Machine Tools and Optonics within the Benelux region. Ensure optimal customer satisfaction for the service and installation of new machines. Leading the service and application organization with more than 35 direct and indirect reports. The function includes:

  • Responsible for ensuring the Service and Spare Parts P&L. Management of the variable and fix costs of the department, including equipment investments and FTE’s.
  • Responsible for the warranty claims process. Handling of VIP MAZAK customers for both the after sales support and claim management process.
  • Manage technical support on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs from Mazak machines, as well as providing instructions and operational training for the end-users.
  • Training of the customers for the application and operation of machines
  • Ensuring a well-run, efficient department with good management profitability.
  • Management of the targets and KPI’s of the Service and Application organization.
  • Securing the efficiency of the planning or the field engineers’ team.
  • Ensuring an efficient back-office service organization for the providing of technical support by telephone and digital platform regarding possible solutions to faults or analysis of faults.
  • Manage service organization regarding reservation of the necessary parts, tools, and engineers.
  • Ensuring the correct follow-up of service & application administration and the completion process of the reports from the service & application engineers.
  • Registration and service evaluation as well as the monthly reporting elaboration for Japan.
  • Ensuring correct and timely invoicing.
  • Managing an efficient field service organization across the Benelux.

Gezocht profiel

Academic and professional experience:

- Bachelor or Master degree in the field of electromechanics or industrial engineering.

- Technical expertise of industrial machinery.

Skills:

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Optimal customer service representation and customer mindset with a well-developed sense of service.

- Able to work well independently and in a team.

- Being a good listener and being creative

- Strong communication skills and commercial insight.

- Experience in motivating and coaching people.

- knowledge of the Dutch, French and English.
